Just try stating it secerity light blinks and kills moter i change driver door and battery
The main security module besides the body control module is in the driver door locking actuator. The new door must have came with one in it. If you can still get ahold of your old lock actuator out of your original door that would be the best way to fix it. One last thing is to put the key in the driver door lock cylinder and turn it back and forth several times to see if it will agree with the body control module and disarm the security system. Good luck
This sounds like the security system is not disarming when unlocking vehicle , do you have a key fob or just a normal key ?

Do you know how to check codes on your Jeep? Sometimes the crank position sensor goes out but the Jeep will still run until there is an interruption in power to the ECU. I had a 94 Cherokee do the exact same thing. Turn your key in the following pattern: off-on-off-on-off-on. Leave it on and look at the engine light - it will blink out 2 digit codes. If I remember right code 11 is for the crank sensor...

remove the door switch, clean and reinsert. It switched ground to a black cable, which goes to the PCM.

It is likely one of your battery cables loose. Same thing just happened to me today. What you need to do is first lock the doors, and close them. Then you need to disconnect, and reconnect the battery cable, then if the security lights still blink you must use your key to unlock the door, then it should stop blinking, and start just fine.

It takes very little voltage and amperage to operate dash gauges. You cannot rely on "seems" when it comes to the battery. A good battery should have standing voltage of at least 12v and be able to "snap back" from a fifteen second 200 amp load. Under load, the voltage should not drop lower than 9.5 volts. Have the battery charged and load tested before going anywhere else with this. then make sure connections are clean and tight. After you get it started, if battery was good, check starter draw and charging system operation. If it does not start, check power flow from key through neutral safety switch and starter relay to starter.
