P1000, is ignored. It is a drive cycle code. Year make and model please. You could have a security problem.
2005 Ford explorer
Does the security light flash when you turn the key on? If so, try locking the vehicle, all doors, plus the hood, hatch. Use a key fob to open it. No fob, use the key on the drivers door. Get in and it should start. If not, try a spare key. Still no start, light flashing. It will have to put on a scanner. To see what is wrong with the security. This can get pricey.
the light flashes while the car is not on im not sure if it flashes when i try to crank it.it will crank but wont start and ive tried everything
ive put new spark plugs new coil pack another crank sensor and it still wont start put it on a code reader and p1000 showed up how can i take it threw a drive cycle if it doesnt even start??
You'll have to see. It will flash faster if set. If it doesn't flash, then the codes need read and repost. A code reader will do the job, you don't need to take it to a garage.
flash faster when set what do u mean? it never stops flashing are u saying if it flashes fast while tryn to crank it

P1000 is a manufacturer specific fault code:
Ford P1000: OBDII Monitor Testing Not Complete.
Jaguar P1000: Engine control module (ECM) - internal error.
Kia P1000: System diagnosis incomplete.
Land Rover P1000: Engine control module (ECM) memory erased - no codes stored.
Mazda P1000: OBDII Drive Cycle Malfunction.
So depending on the manufacturer of your car would depend on the meaning of a P1000 code!
SOURCE: 1997 FORD CODE P1000
a p1000 code means that the system has not run all checks since last memory erase. in other words after a code erase this code is set until the car has been driven for 2 drive cycles which is 20 to 25 miles then 20 to 25 miles again.
