I have no sound from audio equipment at all, althouh display shows cd changer working, radio working, sat nav working, just no sound whatsoever. I was thinking maybe if there is an amplifier that is not working, where it was so that I could check it.

Ensure the map data dvd that you have for the car covers the uk. it might only cover mainland europe is should state GB on the packaging or on the disk itself.
alteratively in the set up the previous owner may have removed uk maping or uk post codes from the system and they may needed to be reloaded.

if your system an navteq one prior to 2003? it is known that the mapping from that period did not support uk post codes i assume buying a new mapping software will resolve this issue. I would recommend checking with jaguar in case any system software upgrade is also needed to read later mapping data versions.

Witch modern audio unit fits Jaguar XKR 2002 ?

the jaguar audio system in your car is made to fit in the console stack so to get one to fit is not easy the best way is to get a premium jaguar audio unit for that model/year car ie with amplifier module etc and fit that so not to destroy the origional console fitment. depending the exact model/year the system may also use d2b fibre optic for audio transfer if its the all alloy version 2002 on thats the system not easy to change audio system in modern cars like that. hope that helps

Where is the JAGUAR S TYPE AMP AMPLIFIER MAIN SPEAKER RADIO AUDIO YW4F-18T805-AB located at?

Don't know off hand (fuse locations already been posted), but think the actual Amp location may be in the luggage comp (boot), left side above the CD Stacker unit, OR, again in boot, under the parcel shelf, i.e. front end of luggage comp under rear shelf.

How do i connect my mobile with my x type jaguars phone system

If there is no mobile phone Paired to the
vehicle system and the SIG screen is
displayed, Pairing may be performed as
follows:
Select Phone Mode (if not already
selected).
Use touch-screen keypad to enter the
following digit sequence and press the
Send/End button.
The following sequence performs exactly
the same function, but times-out after
approximately five minutes, ##1#*#.
(If you are not familiar with the Pairing
process, this sequence is NOT
Recommended, because of the time-out
period.)
At the SIG**** screen the vehicle system
is waiting for communication with a
Bluetooth equipped telephone.
Check that your mobile phone is set to the
Jaguar Bluetooth system, using the menu
functions on the phone. Refer to the
handbook that was supplied with your
specific mobile phone.
When Jaguar device is found on the
mobile phone display, the phone will
prompt you to enter the pass key (1313)
on the mobile phone keypad.
When the above operation has been
completed and the phone is successfully
Paired and connected with the vehicle
system, the SIG* screen will be displayed.
