You may have a restricted fuel filter, if the engine check light is on you may also have a restricted catalytic converter on your exhaust system remove the unit and run the car and see if a difference was made, if not have the dealer or shop run a scan on it.
Sounds like a weak fuel pump but i could be wrong in this case as this vehicle is known as a astra or vectra and the computer is bolted to the engine ,this causes no end of problems as the heat with time affects the electrical component values ?? causing problems like this ,best advice i can offer is to call the dealer

You are looking at 2 things a transmission failure and a transmission module failure. I am not a advocate on transmission additive but in your case you need it 2002 and 2004 years was declared a lemon on the transmission so use the additive of you choice also disconnect the battery and reconnect this allows a relearn on the transmission (before you do this get the radio code if you have a radio security
