Blower stopped working? what do i do?

Was working but had to cut it on max fan to get it to blow hot or cold air. it has antifreeze in the car and the engine still heats up like normal.

Sounds like the Blower Switch may be bad. Whatever the reason, I agree, take it to a professional. If it's an older; by that I mean a classic car, please provide the Make, Model and Year.

First check the relays under the hood of your car. If the relays are bad, you would need to replace the blower motor which is located under the dash. It's highly recommended that you take it to a professional.

What kinda of car/ truck is it? If the fan stopped it might be a fuse, worst case the blower motor is bad.

I think you have a "variable speed resistor" problem, it's overheating. It's an electronic device usually located near or attached to the AC motor blower that controls the fan speed. This is a common problem with aging AC blowers with electronic controls.

If the blower is blowing air just fine, but you cannot control the temperature, you need to listen to air coming from the vents while turning the temperature from hot to cold.
