I think they are describing an LED segment loss and the only present repair that I know is replacing the cluster. A used cluster may cause the DAS system to become inop. Crank no start and is not reprogrammable The mileage is stored and compaired between the ignition switch or EIS and the cluster models with DAS 3 or newer. A new cluster would have to be coded and or programmed with a SDS so the cluster knows what year, model vechicle it's in and the odometer would not display miles just dashes across the display untill coded.

One of the little lights needs replacement in your dashboard. You can flip off the dashboard and take off the lights one by one.If you found the broken one replace it with a working one and try.

95 mazda millenia a/c climate control, clock, and outside temp dis

i would just get a used one off ebay. usually you can find the dash with the a/c amp(pushbuttons) and the display for around 40 bucks. they are separate units(display and amp), and are mounted with screws that go into the back of the dash panel. the dash panel is easy to remove, there are 2 anchor screws on either side of the steering column. right side is under a plastic cover, the other is under the rheostat, just carefully pry them out, and you will see the screws. then the whole dash part pops out. you will need to disconnect the harness's that plug into the back of the amp, then it all comes free. it might help to put the steering wheel in the lowest position.

In dash display with clock, radio station indicator and outside temp.doesn't work, just all of sudden...Everything else is O.K.

My audio and clock display stopped working all of a sudden. The audio system still worked fine. I had all my fuses checked previously and was told it could cost up to $800 to fix by Mazda. I pulled out fuse 31 and wiped it clean, reinserted it and now my display works as good as new. Thanks to those on this site for your help.

1999 VW Beetle outside temp display not working

For general awareness, the outside air temperature sensor is located above the inside mirror.
Try to reset the temperature measurement unit: 1. Switch engine on. 2. Press and hold clock minute (min) and hour (h) buttons simultaneoutly longer than 3 seconds. The display will show new temperature measurement unit.

No clock inside, how can I install one?

Find a blank spot on the dash and make sure there is room behind it to allow a clock to fit there. Find a clock you like in a junkyard and cut a hole where you want to mount it. Careful cutting near any wiring.. Before installing, determine where power attaches to it and make a simple two wire harness ((3) if you need an extra to power a light. Use an in-line low amp fuse in both hot leads. Attach wire that runs the clock to any open acc port in the fuse block that is hot at all times. Attach light power to acc port that is only on with key. attach ground to metal frame of dash. Don't tap power from any fused circut...it may change operation of any control module in that circut. Make sure the new wires do not rest on any sharp metal under dash.
Good luck
