What are you trying to do? Older ECM's are pretty rugged.
Testimonial: "Hey Randy, I keep blowing ecm ignition fuse. Fuel pumps still runs with good pressur when fuse out but injectors don't pulse. Trying to figure out what causing fuses to blow. Replaced and ran as normal for aprox. 10 days, then blew again. Replaced and now drive with extra fuses"
Those should be 10 amp fuses. Most likely corrosion is causing the problem. Most fuses will take a heavier draw at first start. Then the amperage will drop done to between 6 to 8 amps. When corrosion comes in it takes more amps to run the device, In your case the ECM. Since it draws more amps, the fuse gets hotter, breaks down faster and melts after time. Basically degraded the fuse, so when you get a 12 amp surge on a 10 amp degraded fuse, it blows. I have seen surges up to 40% higher than the fuse, but drops quickly.

Go to autozone.com and register they have good wiring diagrams for your truck. What I saw was all the relays going to ground so you should have 12V coming off the ignition switch.

When I replace a stereo, I buy the harness which is available on Ebay.com or places like Best Buy. All of the wires are labeled and color coded which makes it easier to connect with the wire nuts to any aftermarket stereo that fits in your dash.

Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) is connected to the throttle shaft on the
throttle body. It is a potentiometer with one end connected to 5 volts
from the VCM and the other to ground. A third wire is connected to the
VCM to measure the voltage from the TPS. As the throttle valve angle is
changed (accelerator pedal moved), the output of the TPS also changes.
At a closed throttle position, the output of the TPS is low
(approximately 0.5 volts). As the throttle valve opens, the output
increases so that, at wide-open throttle, the output voltage should be
approximately 4.5 volts. By monitoring the output voltage from the TPS,
the VCM can determine fuel delivery based on throttle valve angle
(driver demand).
