I left my Mini Clubman's driver seat window wide open while we had a massive rain storm. No the car does not want to start. It shows a yellow/orange sign with a key and a stripe through it. What can I do?

Sure. The only purpose of the cat converter is to clean up the emissions of the car.

If you have a dedicated tpms fuse pull it.

Tune up would be the first place I would look into. All filters as well, air, oil, fuel.

The hood release is by the drivers left foot rest. To find the release under the hood look at the front grill where the grill starts to bend down on the drivers side under the hood is the release handle.

the drivers door switch is also a door module and ever thing from for the door goes threw it

Just had starter changed on Mini Cooper S '06. Tried to start the car after come back from shop and: outside and dash lights are flashing, window goes up and down but the engine wont start. Help solving this mistery.

you may have ruined your alarm computer wich is under seat. it can be replaced with a good used unit but a shop with Tech2 must program it. If no communication with computer m ore than likely bad.

I had a similar leak problem with a Bonneville. We had to dry the car out thouroughly , and went to a self car wash to direct water pressure at seams and gaskets to see where fluid entered vehicle. You might have to remove some interior parts....door panel...back seat....you need to verify how much gets wet....ie....just the floor?. Ours was a bad gasket/ seal on the firewall ....water was dripping on the ECM. took a whole day of waiting after washing....then drips would start on the vehicle interior.
