The radio in my 2009 hyundai elantra works intermittently. There is no pattern to when it turns off or on, but it happens less when it is warm weather. Radio will work and then goes dead, and random

Checked fuses, looked for a pattern, took my car in for a factory recall and paid hyundai $50 dollars to look at my radio and have them tell me to have it sent out for $300, as they could not discern a problem with it. I don't think they even looked at it though.

I would start by having someone who has a little electric knowledge to look for a loose wire. I would start with the ground wire. maybe it just never got tightened down right at the factory or over the years electricity can build up some erosion.

When did this happen? after the battery was disconnected? If so see the dealer for the lock code you need to unlock the theft lock out.

My 2009 elantra touring gls radio has a ghost in it. at random times the volume or the channels will increase. how can this be fixed?

There is nothing wrong with your radio. Your Elantra radio automatically changes the volume for you. When you slow down and stop, it lowers the volume, then the volume goes back up when you accelerate.

Fluctuating engine temp a/c sends out cold air intermittently

Here's the thing. The ECU will shut down AC if the engine temperature is too hot. If the coolant temperature sensor is malfunctioning (lying to the ECU) telling it that the temperature is hotter than it actually is, the computer will turn the AC OFF.

'07 Hyundai Elantra w/intermittent Radio Problem!

Is it still under warranty? Could be! Take it into Hyundai Service Center, have it checked/ diagnosed. At least the wiring/connections can be checked to see if they are the problem.. then again, the problem is intermittent, and those are the most difficult to run down Sometimes a "shock" or "wiggle" test reveals the cause.
