My wipers stopped working. There is no noise when I turn the switch and no fuse lableled wipers. What could be the problem? Any suggestions would be great, thanks Karen.
I pulled out fuses and looked to see if any were blown, didn't see any bad one's. But now after doing that the seat and steering wheel that automatically adjusted when the door opened and closed is now not working along with the two preset driver setting buttons on driver side door. I was ocassionally having problems w/manual controls on side of seat after dealer replaced recalled seat harness but this was a while ago. Can this possibly be tied together?I pulled out fuses and looked to see if any were blown, didn't see any bad one's. There might be a fuse with more than just the wipers on it. Does anything else not work? A blown fuse is most likely the cause, it might be hard to locate check owners manuel for fuse locations as they can be in several locations.

Some cars have these included with accessories. If your other accessories work, then your windshield wiper motor requires replacement. Otherwise, read the inside cover of the fuse box the symbol for windshield wipers looks like a windscreen with two wiper blades on it.
the switch that you turn to ge the wiper to wipe -- controls the power to the wiper motor. You need check the wiring from the switch to the wiper motor -- for break or disconnects. you may have to replace the switch oor install a dash mount switch instead And bypass the stock switch.
when you turn the wipers on do you hear any sound? If so, then you may have disconnected a ball joint in there behind the firewall - typically the top (black) panel (under the wipers/ at the back of the hood) comes off or you could find other access to inspect more thoroughly to be sure. If no sound, test the power to the wiper motor with a test light, if no power, check fuses, wiring, ground, etc., Best regards Ck
