How do I fix the horn

In the fuse box under the hood or in a box behind glove box.

different cars different places. look on back of fuse cover it is either on inside fuse box, or under hood fuse box. if the fuse is ok! check the relay for the horn in under hood fuse box. if that is good.disconnect wire from horn, run a wire from battery positive to the horn it self, if it works now, it is the horn relay or button in car. Check fuse. Usually located under the Steering wheel or under the hood. You will have to use the other side of the cover to determine which fuse controls the horn and see if the metal link is broken. If both are not blown its probably a short in the wire. If it randomly just happened then its a good first guess without knowing any further details.

Usually I check all my fuses any time I am looking for a specific one. Sometimes a random fuse can be the cause, and not the actual Horn fuse that is blown.

Check in your owner's manual for the location of the horn relay. It will usually look like a small metal or plastic box that plugs into either the main fuse box or the high amp fuse box under the hood. If your horn fuse is good then most likely the horn relay needs replaced.

The fuse you can visually check by looking for a blown metal strip in the fuse (use chart on fuse box lid for labels). relays are more difficult to explain how to test. but they are cheap. you can try buying a new horn relay and installing it. after that, if it still doesn't work there could be a probably with the switch in the steering wheel. if it is i recommend you take it to a shop to diag and fix. worst case it could be a bad horn and/or elctrical wire and connection. A local shop could fix this. But check the horn fuse and relay that more than likely what it is.

It may be your horn fuse. It will be in one of your fuse boxes. Just follow your diagram on the fuse box lid.

check under the hood in the fuse/relay box for a blown fuse or relay. also there is another fuse panel under the dash next to the steering column. when u take the cover off the fuse/relay box under the hood look inside the lid and it will tell u which fuse/relay controls the cruise/horn/etc. hope this will help you!!!!

Check the fuse ( in the fuse box under the dash) and see if its good. Also check the relay fuse under the hood. Could be these or the horn itself may be bad, but unlikely the horn would be bad.

Yes prb the fuse. Look under the drivers side by the break in the car. It may have a cover over it. They usally have a diagram of what fuse is what. Also under the hood is a bank of fuses. It will be towards the front on either the left or right side under a black cover.

Look for your hood latch its located near the floor on the drivers side at the bottom of the dash. Look up under the dash and there is the fuse panel. Look for any burnt fuses because it could work off of another fuse. Horn should be visible though for you to replace it.
