Hyundia 2012 elantra touring wipers not parking, it has a bosch wiper motor, can't see any fixable parts?

Unless the wiper system of your car is radically different to the majority, there is no wire associated with wiper parking

Mostly the parking is controlled by a switch integrated into the motor that is brought into play as the main wiper switch is switched off.
The self park switch cuts current to the motor and also short circuits the motor that serves to make it stop very quickly.

I suggest you obtain a circuit diagram and you will see it is more complex than you would imagine and works differently than most folk imagine.

The rear wiper motor is separate from the front one. That is right behind the back door panel at pivot point. Your wiper motor and pump for your front washer fluid is under the grill below your pivot points on the front wipers.

It could definately be the wiper relay, and it could also be the wiper motor. If you put a long screw driver on the relay and have someone turn the wipers on with the key on, you should be able to hear the relay clicking as it opens and closes. Sometimes you can put your finger on the relay and feel the relay switching. If you can hear/feel the relay then the next step is the wiper motor. Hope this helps.

I would be looking at replacing the wiper motor....the wiper switch is just that, a switch to tell the wiper motor what to do.....most of the wiring is housed internal of the wiper motor such as the park circuit and the speeds........osunds like an internal fault.....replacement would be advised

Turn on key & wipers--try to move wiper arms--not real hard--may break something--sometimes wipers will start moving.Next--have motor tested--then check for fuse, fusible link, or circuit breaker--depends on make of car. If fuse--replace--if other take to qualified mechanic.

there is a part an the wiper motor called a park switch that can be replaced but i dont recommed it i would replace the whole wiper moter to start with u will be money ahead......hope it helps
