You need to determine where the oil is leaking from. Could be oil pan gasket or drain plug. Look for damage to the oil pan. The damage might be minor but bad enough that the pan won't seat tightly on the engine
i assume you're talking about oil leak, right? and i really hate to assume, but this time i will. you may have a leaking oil pressure sending unit. if it's coming from under the engine, and the valve cover gasket has been replaced recently, if you have'nt hit anything with the car that may have caused damage to your engine,I would look for a bad oil sending unit leaking,or a leaking oil filter,or a leaking oil pan gasket. or a simple oil drain bolt loose. if this does'nt help you, please repost your question to fixya.com
if oil is leaking from the the top to bottom, check the gasket below the cover that has the daewoo name and sign on on top of the engine block. it could be cracked. replace with new one without any gasket sealant just replace the original and done
the 2000 nubria s have three sensors on the side of the transmission that work on electrical charge and pressure you may have a bad ground to the sensor or a bad sensor best bet is find someone who has a obd sensor and check the codes and see what you get
good luck
I would think that if the PCV valve were actually plugged, there may be enough pressure build-up to unseat the thing, which would cause most oil leaking from crankcase pressure to exit via the hole left where the PCV was. Just a guess. How many miles on this Nubira?
Go to your local auto parts store and look for a chiltons or haynes repair manual for your make and model of car. 2000 daewoo nubria. They might already have one open and available for your reference, otherwise its probably $20.00 for one. Do a search online in a forum specifically for daewoos. there might be someone else that has this info available.
