SOURCE: Service Engine Soon light on 2002 BMW X5

you have to have the light cleared with a diagnostic machine if the problem is still there after that then it probably means that you changed the oil but you need a whole tune-up spark plugs wired ect.

2004 Hyundai Terracan, 2.5 turbo diesel, manual. Will not start cold. Once I get it started, it runs and starts perfectly, with some heat on the engine. Error Code P0110, I replaced the air intake...

right renew the glow plug timer/relay if you put a meter on the glow plugs when cold and turn ign on (with help) it should supply power for a about 20 secs ,time depends on outside air temperature ,if all else fails then do a colin --- use a push button switch, wired to a relay so glow plugs can be operated by pushing the switch which you will mount on the dash ,cant beat a manual overide system

How do i reset service lights

You need a hand scaner/reset to reset the lites on this model. You can buy them on ebay or goto your local part store. Removing the lite is also handy

Trouble code indicates all four glow plug on the left side bad

The garage should be able to test the glow plugs without removing them. All the need to do is use an ammeter or amp clamp and measure the current drawn by the glow plugs. the glow plugs should draw 16 - 20 amps each. much less than that and they want replacing.
