Try taking the number off the engine and see if the dealer can search it up. I doubt they only put it in one car model, but the number on the engine should match the frame. Get where I'm going? As old as it is, I wouldn't expect anything though.
Thanks for adding the 2003 CLUE... that verified what I was suspecting: I am guessing the "BA" FORD nomenclature is pretty obscure ... I had to LOOK that part up... also "Utes"... Cute!
Now I am understanding "BA" to be a series of "Falcon" Fords
indigenous to DOWN UNDER typically between 2002 and 2005
(or 2003 to 2008... else where on the internet).
Being a life long FORD owner... I can tell you for certain FORD Factory manuals were/are available from the dealers... Being old fashioned... I like the hard copies (and have too many cars not to be self reliant)... and they all have the wiring diagrams, circuit drawings... schematics FOR SURE (Volume 3 of 3 on my '04 Navigator & Volume 3 of 5 on my '75 Ranchero).
You are going to like the last (Cabulture AU, local) option the best... eBay.
When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect itagain, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your carradio. The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. Ifyou do not have this code you need to go to your Ford servicecentre and get them to enter this code for you.
search online for a service manual, you may have to pay 4.99 but its well worth it, also download the ford microcat software, for duse this in workshops and has all the parts lists
