Will be purchasing a new 2015 Elantra. Should I purchase an extended warranty?

Is it a rapping noise from the engine?If so it may be covered under warranty for a new replacement engine block assembly.Many are defective.

Brand new Traverse should be covered under the 3yr. / 36k bumper to bumper warranty. If it isn't much past the warranty bumper to bumper the dealership you purchased the vehicle from may "goodwill it" and go ahead and repair the issue but that is souly up to the shop management to honor something like that. They may repair it or if you have an extended warranty purchased during the purchase of the vehicle, they will honor that warranty. I hope this helps you in the issue. If you decide to purchase an extended warranty be very cautious and make sure you ask questions. I purchased one for about nine hundred dollars and six weeks later my car broke down on the road. After getting towed in and telling me my car computer had mal functioned and I needed a new one. I assumed it was covered so I told them to repair it. Six hundred dollars later I showed them my warranty and they said it was no good. Why?
There was a clause in there that anything to do electrical was not covered in small print of course. Computer is classified as an electrical item. My warranty covered Power Train only and they did not tell me that. Power train covers transmission - Motor and the wheel bearings stuff like that. I will never purchase one again as they wanted an extra amount of money for electrical items coverage.

Not unless you have purchased an extended warranty that covers HVAC components. The original factory warranty was for 3 years.

$385-$2000 depending on what you want covered and the mileage. Depending on your state, you have a limited time to take the car back for a refund. It may be 3-7 days, really depends where you live.

If you purchased this vehicle new than this visor still might be covered under warranty...especially if you bought an extended warranty.Some warranty companies cover any and everything from bumper to bumper no questions asked.A sure answer would be to make a quick phone call to either the extended warranty company if you have that coverage or the dealer that you had purchased this vehicle from.Thanks for your time!!! Who did you buy your extended warranty through?... It may or may NOT be covered -- depends on your extended warranty agreement.

Depends on what your extended warranty covers. Check with those folks or call the nearest Hyundai Service Center and ask one of their service manager/writers if they know.
