51 ford focus 18 diesel wont start

My ford transit 02 plate had it a while now been running fine till the past 2weeks! Drives 100yards cuts out then has no problem starting drives 50 yards then cuts out again. Still having same problem

2005 focas ,driving down the interstate my car just shut off I noticed that there was a hole in my oil filter replaced oil filter and oil but still won't start motor turns freely

Fuel pressure [roblem? Lazy fuel pump, fuel filter fed up? If diesel, Infection pump pressure regulator? Have rail pressure chk'd. If illter is overdue, change it If ford can't fix it yhere is always the LEMON LAW!!! MAKE SURE YOU KEEP ALL REPAIR ATTEMPT DOCUMENTATION. tHIS SOUNDS LIKE A CONSUMER SAFETY ISSUE.hAVE ONLY THE FORD DEALER ATTEMPT REPAIRS. qUALITY IS jOB ONE! qUALITY IS jOB 1 !

Fuel and spark/turns over but wont start

you don't say if it wants to start, if it tries, if it does, maybe an issue with exhaust gas reculation system stuck open. OR dirty or clogged fuel nozzels.

Brake shudder on ford focus diesel 2002.

did you have them change the rotors too ? even brand new ones out of the box often require turning (machining). replace the pads and rotors and go easy on the brakes for the first little while

Ford Focus 1.8 Diesel 2004 Stalling and 'refusal' to restart.

you dont say what diesel engine it is --is it a common rail diesel or a standard pump diesel ?need to know---think you have had your leg lifted mate if there is no codes why carnt they read actual data remember its not the standard of the equipment its the knowledge needed to use it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Engine turns but won't start

What year is the focus, And have you checked the ford recalls on the car? I know that when I owned my focus there was a recall with the fuel pump in the tank and i had somewhat of the same problem myself. If your only getting gas to only ONE spark plug, your issue probably lies somewhere in your fuel delivery system (i.e. Fuel pump, fuel filter etc. etc.). Which would also describe the " It stalls out then the engine won't start for along time again.". Let me know, I'll keep trying to troubleshoot with you. Good luck!

SOURCE: 2000 ford focus wont idle shuts off but starts again

check for vacuum leaks first by sparaying carb cleaner on the intake and all vacuum lines. then check pcv valve to see if its stuck open. then try replacing the idle control valve. hope this helps.

when you say car does not start what do you mean does it crank atleast, now the switch they replaced is just a neutral safety switch has nothing to do with our problem to me it sounds like that the crank sensor is going bad in this car
