it is hard to find a new cllutch, most companies just want to sell you a new compressor. if you need a new one, check http://www.rockauto.com/ first, then search amazon and ebay for the part number at rock auto, sometimes you can find one less expensive than rock auto but overall rock has the best deals

did you seat the torque converter IN THE TRANS before installing the tranny? If not you broke the pump in the tranny. Also DO NOT tip a used tranny upsidedown it sends all the clutch and band debres into valve body. I hope this helps CJ
You need to replace cluster, 99-02 Silverado GMC all will work even if it has a trans temp truck is pre wired for it. I put a 02 Denali cluster in my 01 silverado no problems. GM can reprogram hours and odometer if you want.
At the bottom of your transmission there is a large square/rectangular pan (depends which trans you have). Have a large drain pan to catch 5 to 9 liters/quarts of transmission fluid. Undo all of the retainer bolts and carefully lower the pan (this can get messy for the unexperienced) . In some cases the rear transmission mount may need to be undone and the rear of the trans lifted to allow clearance for the pan to be slid past the crossmember. Replace the trans filter too!
