Check coolant temp sensor. If bad, it will make computer think the engine is still cold, causing excessive fuel delivery and flooding. These sensors can be removed and tested (see instructions in shop manual)

Changed front turn signal on '03 Buick Century with car running. Car died and will not start. All lights on dash operate, headlights and radio operate. Cannot find a fuse that is blown.

Did you short something out ? Do you have a SECURITY light lit on the insturment cluster ? anti-theft system problem . Will not start how ? does the engine do anything when you turn the key to the start position ? A - crank no start or no crank - no start ? If the engine cranks an doesn't start , is there spark at plug wires ? Is there fuel ? An anti - theft problem will let the vehicle engine crank but not start an run , disables fuel injectors .

Best advice check it out first!
DO NOT Shotgun it as in replace things until it works. You are blowing money at that point.

1988 buick regal stalls and restarts stalls and restarts

Sounds like a relay or coil failing.
To proceed you would need to find out if you are loosing spark to the plugs or fuel pressure to the injectors when it won't start.

1989 buick regal 2.8 stalls out. it will start and run well for 5 seconds and then just die. it starts better with a spark plug disconnected. fuel pressure is 40lbs. plenty of spark from coils. replaced...

The catalytic converter maybe clogged. This would result in a car starting then cutting off. you can unbolt the catalytic converter see if that solve the problem. Then if that was the problem replace it with a new one. Goodluck.

My 2003 Buick Regal is running like ****

Per your description, it sounds as though you have a stuck injector. I assume you have a service engine light on. Take the vehicle to your local Auto Zone or Advance Auto Parts and ask them to scan the car for trouble codes, they will scan the vehicle at no charge to you.
Write the codes down and respond back to this post and we can get started.
Let me know.

Car Dies

My car idled OK but not great and used to die during stops at times. I replaced the spark plugs and wires without a difference. Shortly after the car died with very little power, just enough to limp home. I had a shop fix it so I didn't guess what was wrong. They replaced the Ignition Module and some of the Coil Packs. They had to replace the Spark Plugs I just put in due to fouling. If you are smelling gas you are putting your cat at risk and might have a more expensive problem later. It cost me $500 but it runs better than ever.
