There's definitely some wires that are shorted together, i would start at the radio if it had been changed out there would be a good source for a short. Also check your ignition switch, its a power distribution center that can go haywire when it starts shorting out. I would also look for wires going to the blower / radio that have been melted together allowing power to be transferred between them from an unwanted source ;ie non switched or direct. Wiring can be hairy, but if you can trace it down to a single source and repair and damaged wires you could save the hassle of replacing the wiring harness. Good luck

My VW Jetta is having starting issues/ electrical problems

Yes, that is a major electrical issue. You need a good local auto-electrician with a pro grade $5,000 scan tool computer. It will check all the modules and diagnose the issue. Probably multiple modules. They can also run live data and record whilst the vehicle is being driven.

Why wont my car start ? battery great acts like a fuse problem

A fuse problem , that's a good one . Won't start how ? When you kurn the key to the start position , what happens ? Does the stater engage the flywheel and spin the engine over , but vehicle doesn't start an run ? This is called a crank - no start condition . Or when you turn the key to start nothing happens ? Which is the problem your having ? Two totally different diagnostic procedures !

Took to chevy dealer to fix recall 14299-unintended ignition key rotation now having problems at times wont start, battery acts weak& drained,@times dashlights wont go out, knocking sound under dash

take it back to the dealer for a proper fix under the recall program
the vehicle is supposed to leave the shop in the same condition as when it went in
probably a simple ECM reset using a scan tool that was not done after the switch change

2001 Hyundai Elantra All four windows won't work radio headlights won't turn on and running lights don't turn on replaced all fuse and relays and still having these problems what do I do to fix it

Possible ignition switch. Try gently rocking the key back and forth in the ignition cylinder with the vehicle running without turning the vehicle off. While performing this procedure, try working the windows or have the headlight in the on position to see if it corrects the problem. If the accessories start working, suspect an ignition switch

My car wont start acts like battery is dead but it is not i have checked. Nothing turns on and the key was stuck in the ignition, got the key out need to still know what is wrong and why it wont start

Sounds like your ignition switch is the culprit, but you will need to have it checked by a mechanic to be sure. Other possibilities are the starter, fusible link, and the battery. Even if accessories such as radio, lights, etc. work, the battery may still be too weak to perform its toughest job - starting the vehicle. I would pull the battery first, and take it to a repair shop for testing.

When I turn the key to start the vehicle, it acts dead

Sounds to me like you need the starter solenoid replaced or may-be the neutral safety switch. If the car always starts in neutral but not in park the safety switch is the culprit, otherwise the solenoid or the starter is to blame.

2004 t&c minivan. only 35k miles. Radio/Nav head unit works when key is in Acc mode. No power to radio unit after key is turned to ignition. This only started happening after changing the battery...

The reason the radio and all other units go off when you turn the key to ignition is all the juice is being sucked by the starter motor ( happens to majority of the cars and is very normal). and if it didn't used to happen to you before is probably you had a battery with higher Amps before. Hope this helps.

When I turn off my ignition, my heater fan will keep running

I just started experiencing the same problem. Yes, typically after rainy days, I can never get the interior lights to go out after the ignition key has been removed. The car acts as if there is a door open. Now, my latest problem is with the heater fan. Of course, putting the control in the "off" position will turn it off but you can turn it on and off with no ignition key installed. I'm also having problems with my heater core too so it's been a pain in the but!!

I believe this problem has also caused my battery to die which is why I'm on this site in the first place!! I can't get into the car with the keys and the dead battery won't allow me to unlock the car!! When it rains it pours!!!

94 concorde ignition/electrical?

make sure the battery cables are touching metal to metal. Sometimes the rubber around the battery cable can get pinched in between and not letting a good contact. You could also place a washer between the cable and the battery.  If this does not help try banging your solenoid while someone else tries and turn over the vehicle. Make sure your solenoid is not shorting out.
After you have tackled these tasks and you still are having problems, then I would expect ignition
