SOURCE: My 99 ford explorer cuts out and dies when accelerating in drive

You may have dirty or clogged fuel injectors, may also be problems with the ignition system. Might also check the fuel pressure to make sure the fuel pump is working correctly.

SOURCE: 2003 toyota highlander will not idle, must keep

The first place I would look is the IAC motor (idle air control) usaully on throttle body and possibly dirty throttle body and one last thing could possibley be EGR valve exaust gas recir. as if it stuck open it will lean out engine.

Hlo there.my ford bantam rocam 1.3 2006 leak oil at breather pipe what can be the problem and how can i fix it

Internal engine problems could just be valve seals leaking oil into the combustion chamber pull out the spark plugs and look at them if they are covered in oil and the firing pin and electrode are bridging together then it's your rings or head gasket and the truck is smoking a lot ///if you just see plugs that look tan/white ash build up its the seals and it smokes a little after idling and then you accelerate and it disappears and then starts again after idling you will see light blue colored smoke but not clouds of it just a slight haze in the exhaust

Ford bantam 1.6i rocam engine idles too high +/- 1300rpm

I had a similar problem: engine idling at 2000 rpm. The internet suggested that it might be leak in the inlet manifold (or vacuum system, as some people call it). When idling I could hear a hissing sound. It turns out the inlet system itself is fine, but two hoses that run from the engine block to the top of the valve cover have worn through and was leaking: the moment I plugged the hole with my thumb the revs went down. These hoses draws air through the crankcase to the inlet manifold, to prevent the air in the crankcase from polluting the atmosphere.
