The module that controls operation cud hav issues. But its usually connectd w otherthings too. A car harness wire or bad radio also. Disconnect batt a few min and see if itclears. Or bring vehicle for a scan at autozone

there should be 2 power inputs in radio connector,1 for radio power other for memory. If you have both then radio would have to be sent out for repair.

its probably the wiring behind the radio. They can come loose sometimes

Car Radio Ground Wire: Black


hi please check the above mentioned wires are in place. if all in place then check weather power is coming to these lines. if power is also coming the problem lies with the system itself. please service it and it wil be ok.

Check your antenae connection on rear of radio...I know this is a pain but sometimesit comes loose.:)

Sounds like you have a short. It will drain your battery. Pull the radio out and inspect wiring for damage and correct routing.

did you hook up the ground wire to back of radio it is not in the main plug it will go a bolt on the center of the radio and to the metal frame behind the radio

There are 3 fuses in the interior fuse panel that feeds radio.
no. 11(10amp) is ignition switch power to the radio it comes into radio on the TN/LB wire.
no. 27 (10amp) is hot at all times and comes in on OG/LG wire.
no. 12 (5amp) is hot in run or accessory and comes in on YE/BK wire.
Check these with 12V test light at fuse and at radio connector.

remove the trim around the radio face be careful not to break it, it should snap off its a delicate proceedure take radio face plate off ( if equipped) radio should come out
