INADV POWER BUS This 15 amp fuse inside the interior fuse box end of dash board was the fuse that caused my 2000 Buick Century too loose the radio, dome light and all four windows would not operate. It burned when I raised two rear windows at the same time and the amp load was to much for the fuse. I used a test light only and checked each fuse by, ground to the dash frame then check each fuse in place by touching the tiny tab on the top of each fuse, must have power on both side's of the fuse with the ignition in the on position, engine not running.

Sounds like you blew one of the main power supply fuses in the under hood fuse box. that or you have a bad connection somewhere.

SOURCE: No power to radio, windows, or sunroof

best advices would be to check your fuses in the cabin or under the hood.

or

your grounding cable from battery or chassis is either loose or corroded. check your battery terminals and make sure they're clean. i had the exact same problem when relocating my battery from the front of the car to the trunk of the car. my ground cable was loose and the electrical circuit didnt seem to be going through the cycle.

SOURCE: replaced battery, while doing so radio and power antenna stopped w

There's a dedicated fuse for radio. But most newer cars if you take out battery radio goes into "enter code" mode (security feature). You have to know special code to your specific radio. Info doesn't usually make it to second owners.

Testimonial: "Thanks for idea, however radio does not turn on ,how can i enter code even if i knew it."

2007 Toyota Camry. Dome light, radio, cigarette lighter, horn and clock not working and all fuses are good on both fuse boxes. Any one knows why?

All of those are controlled by or influenced the BCM. You need a good auto electrician with a pro grade scan tool to check the BCM and communication to and from it.

1999 Dodge Ram 1500 radio and inside dome light sre not working. Radio 15A fuse is good. What do I look for?

Hi Steve:
You may have 2 separate problems so I'd try to approach it that way. RADIO - On this older truck, it may be that there is a separate in-line fuse for the radio. If you can see under the dash where the wires come from the radio, look for a red or black one that has an in-line fuse holder. Push the ends inwards and twist counterclockwise, then pull apart to get at the fuse. It is also possible that the "accessory" terminal of the ignition switch is no longer working. A continuity meter should help you resolve that.
DOME LIGHT - Pull the bulb and test to make sure it's working. Check for power at the bulb connection receptacle (socket). Dome lights typically are switched from the doors or by rotating the light switch. If the bulb is good, it should be a hide and seek game to find where the power is, and where it isn't. The shorter the distance between these points, the closer you are to the problem.
Patience, and a sense of humour. You'll get it.

Help! The power windows, radio, dome light all stopped working at the same time. After leaving the door open for a few hours as I had the windshield replaced in the driveway of my house...

It sounds like a fuse or loose connector. I would contact the company that replaced the windshield and and ask what caused the problem, they may repair it for you if it was there fault.

How do I fix the problem of all 4 power windows

See if you have power coming out of the master power window switch when a button is pushed down. Remove a door panel and check for power at the window motor with the switch pushed. If you do not have power it could be the master switch. Good luck.

No dome light or radio

It's the IOD fuse. Trust me, I just fixed the exact problem on my '98 not ten minutes ago. The fuse is located in the fuse box inside the driver's side door. It will be the fuse on the bottom and toward the front of the panel with a black cover over it. Just pull the fuse holder straight out and snap the hinged cover forward to expose the fuse. Just a standard 10 amp automotive fuse and you're back in business!

Dome lights won't work or power mirrors

Ford's are notorious for electrical 'ghosts'.
If the fuses are all fine.. and the motors for the windows and the light bulb for the dome light are good... probably not much that can be done unless you want to give it to the dealer for diagnosis and repair, but they'll probably tell you they can't find the problem.
