AIR CONDITION WILL NOT BLOW COLD AIR OUT OF VENTS. THE BLOWER YOU CAN HEAR, BUT WILL NOT BLOW ANY AIR. CAN FEEL IT WORKING, COOL ON DRIVER SIDE AND WARM ON PASSENGER IN THE DEFROST AND SIDE VENTS. I JUST REPLACED MY BATTERY AFTER 5 YRS. WHAT COULD THE PROBLEM BE ?

The 2 vents on the drivers side have warm air blowing out. ... But a system that is 1/2 pound low will cause the passenger side vents to blow cool or cold air, and the drivers side to be less cool or even warm on this car. This condition is usually an indication that the a/c refrigerant level is low. The driver's side will always get heating and cooling first. I would recommend having the refrigerant level checked and also having it leak tested.
problem one the blower positions first it could be the blower resistor or possibly the switch second problem no cool air there is a heater shut off valve under the dash on the right side of the radio if you change the temp control from cold to hot and hot to cold and hear a clicking ,grinding noise this valve is bad and not shutting off the hot air to the system making your a/c feel warmer , or a/c system has a leak somwhere and will have to be recharged and traced to repair it
I worked at a Dodge dealership for a while and 9 out of 10 times this is due to the recirculation door being broken, allowing hot air from outside to enter the cab of the truck. The dashboard will need to be removed to access the area.
It sounds like the control motor switching from hot to cold is stuck halfway in between the two temp settings. You will have to take it down and replace it, it is mounted under dash passenger side near the blower motor.
