The shift solenoids on a 2003 Dodge Durango are located in the valve body of the transmission. To access the solenoids, you will need to remove the air filter and the valve body.
I'm getting that you have a shift problem? Lucas is good stuff but if trans oil looks funky, change it and filter THEN an additive. You can only drain pan, so converter still has a lot of old fluid in it. If it starts getting any better after change, do it again in 2-3 weeks. Other than that, trans problems are usually internal and require teardown and rebuild.
Code 0753 means Transmission 3-4 shift solenoid or transmission relay circuit problem. The PCM (engine computer) is seeing an incorrect input electrically for the gear or speed it should be seeing. You will need to find a qualified transmission shop to diagnose the problem. Possible causes for the trouble code start with worn/dirty fluid, electrical repairs & transmission overhaul.
