Have you checked ALL of the fuses in the fuse box (driver's side kick panel)? There are quite a few fuses related to lighting. Does the interior overhead light work? If all the fuses are fine the next thing to check would be the rheostat for controlling the brightness of the dash lighting. The rheostat can get dirty and cause dead spots. I would work the rheostat back and forth while the headlights are on and see if you get any dash flickers at all. If you get nothing check the continuity of the rheostat. If you get flickers then clean the rheostat.

this is caused by your dash light "dimmer" either going bad, or coming un-plugged due to recent work (like stereo or alarm installation usually).. if it is unplugged - plug it in, if it is plugged in, order one from the dealer or just get one from a wrecking yard. If you have had a new stereo installed right before this happened, make sure to have them also check their wiring.

Is there green corosion on the tip of the wire ? Chances are the answer is yes. You will have to detach the fuse panel/box and run a new wire and connector to the fuse panel. Splice into the wire you can see, but make sur you cut enough of the wire off to get rid of the corrosion.Hope this helps.
