It's supposed to, it's a parking light, it saves power at night as you can select either left or right lights to stay on when parked.

I know it sounds strange, but "deskeech" is correct. Your owner manual explains it, and this feature is a requirement for cars in Europe.

2004 Toyota Highlander - Both Passenger side turn signals stay on solid, do not blink and stays on after the engine is off and the Key removed, draining the battery down ?? What could be the issue ??

A few years ago I had a pickup with a camper shell. The camper shell light always stayed on even with the switch in the off position. The cause was that the camper light was not grounded to the truck causing the current to backfeed to through the light to ground. Check the ground system in the turn signal assembly.

Volvo s80 turn signal light not blinking

The turn signal switch wears out in these cars fairly fast. You can clean in just by removing the turn signal lever and cleaning the connection inside with a light sanding I mean really light or just use a eraser and clean the residue with alcohol. Then use some dielectric grease it will make it last longer.

I have a 2005 325ci bmw the hazzard light not working neither turn signal .

The simple, and most likely, cause of this problem is a blown fuse in the turn signal circuit. Normally, the turn signal lamps are activated by a single-pole double-throw switch circuit on your 325ci's steering column. That switch is also called turn signal switch and, as you know, you activate it by pressing up or down on the turnstalk (the lever usually on the left side of the steering wheel).

The hazard light circuit is a double-pole single-throw circuit that gangs the right and left turn signal circuits into one and then activates the front and rear signals as your 325ci's hazard lights.

Since they use the same circuits, the fuse is common to both and if it is blown then neither the turn signals nor the hazard lights will work.

Why is my turn signal not staying engaged when you click the handle down?

There's a plastic pert on the turn signal switch that has broken or worn down. Replacing it is impossible without special tools to remove the steering wheel. There is a procedure to follow to dis arm the air bag before you try to remove the steering wheel. A Chilton manual will give you instructions.

Why signal light wont turn off in 94 325i BMW

Do you mean it won't automatically switch off after you turn, or do you mean it stays on, either flashing or just permanently on?

If it's the 1st one "doesn't automatically switch off after turning" it sounds like your turn signal stalk is broken & needs replacing.

If it's a case of the light just continuing to flash or stay on well then it could still be your signal stalk or the relay which times the lights to flash on & off.

All these bits can be purchased for little money on eBay
