Airbag light staying on

Passenger seat belt has to be in buckle (even if person is not in seat) for the airbag light to turn off while I'm driving. Car has never been in accident. Light won't clear with other methods found on YouTube

Passenger seat belt warning stays on even with ignition off

Possible seatbelt latch problem. There are sensors in the latch part of the assembly that inform the restraint module as to what is happening. Sometimes foreign objects get stuck in the latch assemblies ( Children ) and can affect operation. Scanning the airbag module for codes will let you know what part of the restraint system is causing these lights to be on. As long as the airbag light remains on, the airbags will not deploy in the event of an accident

Light is on the dashboard. looks like a person sitting in a seat with a seatbelt on , and a round circle thing like a bll, the view is from the side. what does this mean?

It is telling you that either your seat belt is not on or your passengers is not on. There is a sensor inside the seat belt buckle that tells the car you are wearing it. If the passenger seat senses the weight of a person (or big dog) and they don't have the buckle on then the light will come on. If the seat belts are both buckled in then you must have a bad sensor on the buckle.

How do you reset a 2005 Honda CRV airbag light?

with a SCANNER.
your mechanic or Honda Dealer will provide this service....
Disconnecting the battery won`t do you any good.
You will have to fix the air-bag problem first before you can erase the airbag light...

I have just bought a bmw car 320i 1993, i see the airbag signal is red. I don't know to turn off. Please advice me how to fix it. Thanks!

You need a scanner that plugs into the round plug under the hood. It will read out the error code and reset he light. Peake makes a tool that does this. I presume that there are other tools as well.
Any shop that works on BMWs will have such a scanner.
The two most common problems are: 1) Someone jambed the seat belt tab into the buckle crookedly while the key was on.. 2) Something heavy bounced on the passenger seat occupant sensor while the key was on.
95% of the time on an e36, nothing is really wrong, so you just reset the light and keep driving. The dealer, of course, will want to sell you a new seat belt buckle or other part. On my first e36, I got two new driver side seat belt buckles under warranty before I figured out that there was nothing really wrong with the seat belt buckles.

Gx470 srs light stays on . What is it?

Here's a quick check list for most common cost of SRS / Air bag problem.

Dirty contacts on driver and passenger seat belt buckles

Dirty contacts on seat belt connectors (under seats)

Dirty contacts on driver and passenger sides weight sensors (under seat)

Seat covers

Weight on passenger seat
(Example: grocery package trigger SRS / Air Bag light on the way home.)

I recommend you to pass an vacuum over the contacts and use CRC electronic parts cleaner to rule out connectivity problem.

I DO NOT recommend disconnecting the negative battery connector to clean the code(s).

Without the code(s) the dealer will takes "BILLABLE" time to reproduce the problem.

Srs airbag light is on on my 99 pontiac grand prix

If the seat belt light comes on intermittently with the belt buckled, it may have a bad switch in the buckle or a loose connection @ the switch. This may also set a diagnostic trouble code in the srs control module & keep the srs airbag light on.

Airbag alarm

This should be for the passenger side airbag. If an adult is sitting in the passenger side seat and there is a light that says airbag off then you have a problem either with the passenger side airbag or with the passenger side seat detector. Start up the car and sit in the passenger seat, buckle the seat belt and make sure the light now says airbag on. If this does not happen take car to dealer. Dealers have correct computers to enter the airbag modules to read and diagnose the fault code.
