Would need more info on what the problem is there is a fuel pump ecu in the side compartment right side rear boot, and a relay in engine bay ( says on the relay fuel pump relay). there is a diode on the fuel tank pump assembly in the tank.... the ecu for the fuel pump there is a few capacitor that over time will need replacing, these being replace the engine will run better, sorts out poor starting and high fuel consumption and hesitation on throtel control.
Resistor or fuse? the fuse is where Matthew said, the only resistor is built into the fuel pump relay. And it isn't a resistor, it a diode.
Its supposed to be to the right of your battery ( if you are facing the engine from the front of the vehicle) at least thats where it is on my 96LS400
