It was cold last night - around 40F. I know all the doors were closed when we got home. A few minutes after trying to figure out what the problem was, I noticed that the door looked just a smidge open - like it had popped. I wiggled it trying to get it to latch with no luck. I tried to open it again and viola! It worked! What is the world caused that to happen to both sides in the first place?

Did you double check to see if the child lock switch on the sliding door is up or down?

could be a partially broken wire in the wiring harness that runs in the door track. the wires are inside what looks like a plastic chain that allows it to move with the door and have seen them partially break not allowing power to flow the whole time

Try taking off the door, or spray some wd-40 on the rail. It sounds like its either not getting enough power or its getting caught on something.

The lock actuator is probably broken in that door. We got one of the internet for 80$ and replaced it outselves and it solved this problem. IOD fuse is very temporary fix as system is sensing problem and flipping to protect itself like the breaker switches in the house.
