Open the cap and then drain enough coolant so that the coolant level is below the thermostat housing. to change the thermostat follow the top radiator hose back to the block, remove the two bolts that go through the thermostat housing and lift it up, remove the old thermostat and replace a new one, including gasket. Make sure the engine is cooled down and the water drained before you remove thermostat. Most likely you have a 195 degree.

Change bank 1 sensor 1 this will solve your problem. Tihs is a fuel issue nit a thermostat issue.

You will need to Change the Water Pump. It is still pumping, Just not enough to get the Thermostat to Open.

The thermostat is on the intake by the exhaust cross over. The crossover will have to be removed to get the thermostat housing out. If the intake gaskets are leaking fix them and change the thermostat while the intake is off. The only reason I say this is because the intake gaskets are a common problem.

Follow the big water hose on top of the radiator to the engine blogk. Where it goes into the block there should be 2 or 3 bolts to remove the housing. When you change the thermostat you should also change the gasket. I hope this helps.you.
