How do I remove the interior fuse box on my 1996 escourt mark V11 ?...It has power into it but nothing else has power. I think the circuit is fried?.Am I right?

hello. i can assist you. i believe the fuse box you want is on the driver's side:

I had this problem as well.
The wiring harness in the trunk is a bit short and some of the wires fray. when this happens, the car doesn't recognise that the fob is close by so it fails to open.
Just pull back the boot near the trunk hinge on the passanger side and look for frayed wires.

Take it to your local garage. It took my mechanic 2 minutes to fix a new fuse and cost me 5 quid!!

My boyfriend connected the battery up backwards and fried some wires. How do I know which wires are fried? And how much would a new fuse box be?
