You answered my question about my 1994 Lexus es 300. I changed out the two sensors. On the transmission. I ohms out the wires and it ohms out .so I changed the gauge cluster an

I changed out both speed senors on the trans .the input and the out put ones.the r.p.m. works fine. Its the MPH gauge that not reading.is there senors on the wheel hub that could prevent the gauge from read the speed. There are no abs warning lights on or service soon light on so .am I missing something that is right there but can't see .

Check the wheel speed sensor it could be dirty with metal shavings or crusted brake fluid not allowing it to work properly

SOURCE: my 1994 Lexus ES 300 I changed out my speed sensor and shaft on the trans box and the speed odometer still does not read. is ther another speed sensor some where else .

Your actual speedometer may be bad. You can get a replacement at the salvage yard to find out without spending money for a new one.
