My 1994 Lexus ES 300 I changed out my speed sensor and shaft on the trans box and the speed odometer still does not read. is ther another speed sensor some where else .

Your actual speedometer may be bad. You can get a replacement at the salvage yard to find out without spending money for a new one.

I believe there are two sensors on this trans. You may need to change the other sensor. Ask your auto parts supplier. Good Luck Friend.

My speedometer is not reading my speed! My accelaration and the power to go is completely there. If I'm on the freeway or parked, gauge says that I'm still going 25 mph. The gauge does move, but is FAR...

If the odometer is correct, the problem is in the speedometer head. If the odometer is also not accurate, it may be the speed sensor in the transmission.

Where is the ecm located on1994 lexus es 300

ECM is located behind the glove box. I hope this helps

E300 1994 codes read p0720 and p0500 one is speed sensor and the other is tran speed sensor, we are having prob with tran shifting and various speeds and rpm jumping up then shifting.

try changing the drive shaft speed sensor, sounds like you have a malfunctioning drive shaft speed sensor, change sensor and reset codes and test... e 300 had this problem in 94 and 95 even when they were close to new with very low miles... please rate my help , thanks
