Ford Focus Mk1 fuse/fuses for heater fan & interior/courtesy lights

The heater fan & interior lights have stopped working. This could be a fuse, but I have checked all the fuses in the box under the bonnet, and they all look OK. Are there any fuses anywhere wlse, or could there be another reason why they are not working?

I think there should be another fuse box located inside the vehicle possibly under the dash panel on the Nearside.

MY 2002 FORD FOCUS WAGON ZTW HEATER STOPPED WORKING . COULS IT BE THE FUSE OR WILL I NEED TO REPLACE THE HEATER AT WHAT COST?

Yes it could be a fuse. You need a test light or volt meter to test.
A fuse goes bad because of an overload of amps, or a short. (A bad fan motor can short out). Check all fuses. (See the owners manual for locations) If all is good, you need to see if you get voltage to the fan motor. If the fuse is blown, or bad, replace it and try it again, if it blows again, unplug the heater fan and then try another fuse. If it doesn't go bad, the motor may be bad. Cost will depend on what you can do yourself.

For the cigarette lighter fuse on uk models ford focus there is another 'hidden' fuse box behind the glove box.
Just unscrew three screws at the hinge of the glove box.
Replace fuse 35 which is a 15amp fuse.
Hope this helps .
