You should know that the air conditioner compressor comes on when some of the heater functions work. That happens to remove the moisture from the air in the cabin so that you don't get foggy windows. The first thing that you need to check is air conditioner compressor. See if it is coming on. Then it could be the compressor, You can unhook the electrical connection to the clutch on the compressor to see if that is the problem. If not then it could be the body control module.
The sensor that is most likely causeing the problem is the low oil pressure sensor. It is telling the cpu that you have a problem that unless you correct it, the motor will suffer serious damage from insufficient lubrication.Have the oil pressure checked with a manual gauge then replace the sensor unit if faulty.
I had a similar problem with my car. It turned out the O2 sensors were fine and the issue was a leak in the throttle body causing the engine to run lean. If you have an ODB2 scanner you can look at fuel trims, etc and will be able to tell.
This is because the
engine does not accelerate and the RPM falls below the minimum the PCM
is in charge of sending a signal for the engine to increase the
RPM.Thanks
