Depending on the vibration the speed you mention is when drive shaft vibrations are evident. Check all "U" joints for wear, check slip joints for wear especially the front shaft.Check wheel alignment for castor problems and check the steering shocky ( if fitted)

If tyres are good then check the ball joint connecting the steering rack to the steering box arm - have a friend move steering wheel and check there is no free play between box arm and linkages - usual problem and I can supply a rebuild kit if you need cheaper and easier than pulling the rod end off.. message me at [email protected]

SOURCE: stuck in park, Land Rover Discovery

Had the same problem with my 03 Disco. Went through the usual, checking the fuses, etc. I went ahead and replaced my break light switch on the brake pedal. $15.00 fix, or I thought so; still had the problem! Took it in for repairs and found out it was fuses after all... To get the parking lock to disengage you need to pull of the housing, which is tough and then press in the locking pin at the base of the shift lever to shift out of park. you can do it with the engine running and it will drive just fine until you put it into park again. Check your brake lights if there is a problem. Could be a sign of the brake switch failure. In my case the lights were out, but a cheap trailer rental did the damage. The short in the trailer blew some fuses and it was a problem that cost me $60.00 at the repair shop....

SOURCE: default code P1451 Land Rover Discovery II

The code P1451 on a Land Rover is "Leakage Detection Module Motor power stage error Drive cycle A:Signal out of range - above maximum". This is an OBD-II diagnostic system code. As far as I know, a 1995 Land Rover Discovery does not use a OBD-II system. Is it possible that this rover is a later model year

SOURCE: transfer case oil change- 1999 Land Rover Discovery II

No need for a diagram, to drain the oil, there's a drain plug on the bottom of the transfer box, under the handbrake drum. To fill, the fill plug is about in line with the centre of the handbrake drum and to the left. I think both plugs are 1/2" square. Fill to overflow with Texaco Multi-Gear 75W/90R. Takes about 2L or so.

SOURCE: where is my fuel filter located on my 1999 land

If your vehicle is a Discovery Series II, it is not equipped with a fuel filter. If it is a Discovery Series I it is in the right rear wheel well towards the front. Hope this helps out.

Best of Luck

2000 year model X reg Land Rover Discovery Td5 sloppy steering

You most likely have serious wear in the track rod and/or drag link bushes. Do NOT try to save money on this - any good tyre service can replace the track rod ends and do a wheel alignment. If that does not fix the problem. you will probably be up for new tyres

My 1999 land rover discovery won't start when I

Does the starter spin? Has the battery been load tested? Are the battery cables clean and tight on the the battery posts? Check all this and you will likely find one of them to be the problem.
