Blower stays on when key off 1998 olds lss

Do you have manual or automatic climate control ? If automatic could be a bad blower motor control module .
Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.
Disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the rear engine sight shield. Disconnect the positive booster cable from the multi-use relay center. Move the underhood fuse block out of the way. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the blower control module. Remove the blower control module from the blower module.

Radiator fan is not working

Find out if the fan is good first. Use Jumper wires from the battery to the fan connector. If fan operates quiet and normal, check fuses for the fan. On a Chrysler, there is a 40 amp maxifuse that controls fan, for example. There would also be a relay for the fan, and that is controlled or activated by the engine computer. Relay would be in your relay center. The cover for it may be labeled to show which relay is for the fan. You may need to get handy with a testlight or voltmeter to fully diagnose your problem. Like testing the relay terminals for power at the power feed terminal, checking ground circuits, etc.
Good luck.

93 bonneville keeps making noise like the fuel pump is running even when car is shut off. Killed my battery. Any idea what could be causing it to run constantly?

A sticking fyuel pump relay will cause this problem. The relay is located in the Maxifuse/Relay Center

To check the fuses in this underhood

fuse center, turn the two knobs % turn

counterclockwise and loosen the metal

wing nut on the passenger sideo f the

cover. Then remove the cover. The

inside of the cover has a chart that

explains the features and controls
governed by each fuse and relay.

Cant find the fuse panel on my 1980 cadillac eldorado. need to change fuses for horn and wipers

There are three fuse blocks in most late model Cadillacs. The engine compartment fuse block, the MaxiFuse relay center and the rear compartment fuse block. I would check all of these places for the fuse box for your specific vehical. Hope this helps! Please rate 4 thumbs up!

93 cadillac fuse panel location?

There are three fuse blocks in most late model Cadillacs. The engine compartment fuse block, the MaxiFuse relay center and the rear compartment fuse block.

1991-93 Deville, are equipped with a fuse block located in the rear of the engine compartment. There is also a fuse/relay block, located in the glove box behind an access panel, or on the passenger side, under the dash.

DTC trouble code 28 TCS C 1214 HC

The C1214 error is related to the electronic brake traction control module (EBTCM) BPMV pump motor relay contact circuit open. Check the 40A ABS Maxifuse in the underhood electrical center. if blown change it, clear the DTC and if it blows again check for a short in the 1642 line or internal short in the BPMV.
When an ABS/TCS operation is required, the EBTCM activates the pump motor relay and battery power is provided to the pump motor. DTC errors are either H (history) or C (current) I usually clear the history and see if it sets again later.
