This is the car and truck section, but here is an answer.
If you follow the route by I-76 the total distance is about 515 miles.
About 250 miles from Cleveland would put you between Bedford PA and Everette PA. The actual halfway point would probably be the junction of I-70 and I-76.

In general terms, you may have blown a head gasket when it overheated. If the engine cranks but won't start you may not have enough compression because of the head gasket.
A mechanic would check the compression with a gauge.

the engine light can come on for many reasons.....from your petrol cap not being put back on properly to a major engine fault......so it is hard to diagnose what it might be....if you take the car to an auto parts place, some will read the code for you for free, and then you can make your decision from then....this is the only piece of advice I am able to provide with this information....
