I WAS TOLD TO REPLACE OIL PAN FOR MY TOYOTA COROLLA CE 2005 BEFORE I CHANGE OIL...SO MY QUESTION IS HOW IT HAS BEEN BROKEN IF CHANGED OIL WAS DONE EVERY 3000 MILES FROM THE DEALER....
Bring it to a mechanic different than the one who gave you that advice. I suspect that the plug gasket is leaking. It is possible that you need a new oil pan if you hit it with something like a rock or driving over a curb. Again a mechanic can inspect it and tell you right away. The dealer oil changes have nothing to do with this.

not necessarily..visually check the car if required as for a mechanics assistance...this car has been rated one of the best..so i dont this u need to change them until u have a problem with it..extend ur warranty if needed...(got the foll on the net)

SOURCE: 2005 Toyota Corolla with 36,000 miles Transmission now "jumps" into gears
hi,
when the check engine light comes on, your car goes into a mode where instead of everything being normal, things are forced, to try and compensate for something else being wrong. It most likely does need a new timing belt, and a complete tuneup INCLUDING plugs and wires. we have a 1984 toyota corolla and it purrs like ground rice, I suggest the tuneup to continue proper rice production.

SOURCE: 2005 toyota corolla ce maint. required need to know how to reset.
To reset the system. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position with the odometer reading shown. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position while holding down the trip meter reset knob. Hold down the knob for at least 5 seconds. The odometer indicates "000000" and the light goes off. If the system fails to reset, the light will continue flashing.

SOURCE: Have 2002 Mazda Tribute, 64,800
I have a 2001 tribute I bought new and the oil drain plug stripped. My plug size is m12-175. I replaced it with a m12-175 one size over I bought from care quest for $3.89. Worked great. Hope this helps.
