I have a83 nissan sentra xe with 153k + miles on it. iv bought it a month ago and this started like 3 weeks into having it. I turn the key and the engine starts then sputters, shakes then shuts off...... battery light goes on, check engine light goes on the oil light and my brakes light goes on. Car has: newspark plug wires, Spark plugs, new distributor cap, air filter, oil, tranny fluid, fuel filter, my tiing belt was adjusted. sounds lik te engine is starving for gas. to get to work and back i have to hit the gas before it chokes so it can stay on.once moving the car is great on the road. shakes a lil at stop lights tho. i was thinking maybe dirty fuel injector?
Hello it seems to me that it is the ecu unit on the car it is normally located near the battery as there is a computer in those sort of cars any more questions just ask
