Hi i have a 1989 Nissan Cefiro A31 with a RB20E with single OHC and i'am having a problem finding the timing mark to set the cam to. Have located mark on cam gearing but can't find where to line it up to

May be an electrical problem, i have had this problem in my Cefiro before. If you know anyone with a similiar vehicle, try swapping the window switches around for a test, they mey have shorted out.
This is the 'Check Engine' warning light. This normally comes on when there are sensors (usually the engine knock sensor) that are faulty or indicate some type of engine trouble.
Have this diagnosed by a qualified technician immediately.
