Prior to my purchase of the car the rear shocks were changed to "gas" from air ride
Most likely cause is that the actuator ( sensor) for the air ride shocks is telling the car that the suspension is wrong fo rhigher speeds. the "fix" would be to return to the original air-ride shocks and correct any other modifications made. with computerized systems you cannot just make arbitrary changes without re-programing the computer to accept them( a very costly "if available" option

arnott.com sells replacement shocks, take one of your orginal springs and go to a spring frabrication shop they should be able to fabricate a new spring for you with a 2 to 4 inch lift

yes u can, u will need one of suncore industries kits ($539.00) to do the conversion to standard shock strut system, u will also need the relay kit. Call them before u buy.

I have a 1998 Deville and both rear coil springs are broken.. It also has the air shocks that I dont think work.. Can I put regular shocks in and is there a after market coil spring out there for it ??
