My Crown vic is misfiring on cylinder 1 2 and 3, I have changed all the coils, spark plugs, EGR Valve, Fuel pump, but I am still getting the issue, the car is losing power, I have checked the on the computer the cats are good, the MAF is good, I have had a compression test done, compression is good, I have had a smoke test so the intake manifold is good, any idea what could be causing that... Any help will be highly appreciated
Your next step would be to check for injector pulse (signal at injector) and are the injectors working. Is the miss while driving, at idle, under load, or decell? What codes are u getting?
Testimonial: "I am grateful for the immediate response, I have checked the injector pulse, the injectors look like they are working fine but I am not sure if the cylinders are getting any fuel, meaning the injectors are pulsating fine, but I am not sure if they are clogged and if the fuel is actually getting to the cylinder."
Either a cam on that side is out of alignment or a timing belt has slipped.
Testimonial: "I am grateful for a prompt response, I am not sure how the cam could get out of alignment or the timing belt could have slipped, once again I am no expert, but I think the crown vics have the timing chain and if any of the sides would break then the cam would be out of of alignment and if that was the case the car would not start at all."
