SOURCE: Where are the fuses located for the the dash

All models have fuses, fusible links and relays found in various locations. One junction block (No. 1) is located within the cabin of the car, just under the extreme left side of the dashboard. This fuse block generally contains the fuses for body and cabin electrical circuits such as the wipers, rear defogger, ignition, cigarette lighter, etc. In addition, various relays and circuit breakers for other equipment are also mounted on or around this fuse block.

I was hooking up a cd player in my car and there was some wires that was bare and they touched together some where ad my dash lights went off is there ayway i can get the diagram that shows me where that...

You could have accidently grounded the park lamp circuit to the ground and so this fuse has failed. The aprk lamp fuse is located within the underside of the dash.
The cover of the FUSE BOX will denote the fuse marked circuit and the rating. Use a good lamp to look inside and change the fuse using a nose plier from the spare one in the box..

My A/C panel will not turn on. Read A/C works just fine, but the entire front A/C panel gets no power. Suggestions?

Power to both front and rear A/C control panels goes through fuse No. 3 (7.5 amp) in the driver's under dash (left kick panel) fuse/relay box. But power to the main front panel goes through an additional fuse, No. 13 (7.5amp), in the passengers under dash (right kick panel) fuse/relay box. The other thing to check is the grounding point for the front panel (labeled G401 in wiring diagram.) It is located under the left side of the dash panel on a metal support with a through-bolt fastener. Many items ground at this point so look for multiple ring lugs under the bolt.

Ford f-150 fuse box wiring diagram, which shows were to plug into a spare fuse

There are no "spare" fuses that go anywhere. If you are adding someone, you might want look at an add-a-fuse, which plugs into a fuse location ( i.e. if you want hot in run / accy positions use the radio fuse ). These are 10A max, else you need to use the add-a-fuse to drive a relay that is to a fused connection to the battery.

My 2003 Volkswagon Passaut's horn keeps blowing and won't turn off. How do I disconnect it and where is it located? We had a leak in the windshield and we got 16" of rain this weekend on the east coast.

You can find the fuse for it under the dash on the drivers side. But make sure it does'nt affect any other componits; like the turn signals or the head lights. On the cover of the fuse box it should have a fuse diagram which tells you which fuse is for what item.

Where is the fuse located for the cigarette lighter in a 1996 Civic ex 2dr?

Fuse number 27, under the dash panel. fuse panel underneath your dash on drivers side. ------------------ For more help:-- the fuse is for the 'accessory socket' and it is in the fuse box under the instrument panel to the left of the steering wheel. open the fuse panel cover and you'll see three rows of fuses.the fuse for the accessory socket is on the bottom row of fuses and is the 7th fuse in from the left side as you look at the fuse box. it will say 10A on it. the fuse to the left of the accessory socket fuse will have a 20A on it and the one to the right will have a 10A.

replace the fuse with a 10amp fuse. there may be spare fuses with your fuse box and a fuse puller that looks like a small set of tweezers. look on the inside of the fuse box cover to see if they have spare fuses in the fuse box. if not you'll have to buy one.
just take off the 4 screws holding the lower dash piece..check the cig harness to make sure it's secured..check fuse 10amp on driver side..it's the fuse with tail lamps, instrument panel , etc.

Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

The wipers dont work , i dont know i which fuse it is or could it be the whiper moter.

Easier to check the fuse. The fuse box should be located under the dash on the drivers side or either under a "door" on the driver's end of the dash board. There should either be a label stuck to the inside cover or molded into the fuse box cover to tell which fuse is which. You may also have a fuse puller and a spare fuse or two in there. Find the one for the wipers, pull it out and look to see if the filament is burned thru (broke). If so, that is most likely the problem. If you have a spare fuse of the same amperage replace it and test to see if wipers come on. IF you don't have a spare you can take an equal power fuse out of something, for instance the radio, Test the wipers-then you will know. Make sure to replace the "test" fuse.

2005 Toyota Corolla Radio fuse

Pg. 250 of your 2005 Owner's Manual shows the location of the Fuse Boxes. There is one under your hood on the driver's side and the other is under the dash just to the left of steering wheel. Pg 272, will show you how to replace the fuses. Pg. 286-287 gives a diagram and description of each fuse and what part of the electrical system it enables.
This portion of the electrical system correspondeds to the fuse in position 32 on pg. 287 of the manual.
Your going to have to get on your back with a flashlight and open up the fuse box under the dash by the steering wheel. The lid of the fuse box shows the positions of the fuse and their amperage rating. Like I said, replace the fuse in postion 32 (15 Amp). There is a spare 15 Amp fuse in the fuse box under the hood (easy to get to, see the diagrams in the owner's manual). There is also a fuse puller tool next to the spare fuses.
