Check air pressure and then once you are sure that is at the upper value then check for slipped belts. Good this jack thecarup and spin the tire, looking for bulge or tread out of round.

wow, just read what my auto spell software did while I wasn't watching. Too funny. Wheel weight may have fallen off and it is showing up at that speed. Then if that shock or strut leaks it will cause a serious shaking. I have also seen leaking struts or shocks cause vibrations at speed.

Car shakes when 45 mph is reached. Goes away when I take my foot off the gas pedal. Reaccurs at 60 to 65mph. I put wrong ****** fluid in right before this problem started?! Stumped!!

Sounds exactly like a balancing issue. Check condition of tyres (including side walls) and get the wheels balanced. what fluid are you refering to and what's the difference between what you used to what you should've used?

At 40 mph the car starts to shake. It last to 5o

I have this same car with exactly the same problem. Begins shaking at 40mph and stops shaking as soon as you let off the gas, but then begins again as soon as you press on the gas and smooths out as you get over 50. And the shaking is not felt through the steering wheel. Solution: Replace the transmission mounts. There are two of them, one on each side mounted on the frame right next to the shock strut. There is also a front and rear engine mount, but I replaced the two as described and shaking is gone.

1998 Mazda Millenia Shaking fron end at 40 mph.. any clues??

Get your tires checked out, you may have a seperated tire, or may need to get the balanced checked. and check your air pressure. then while your at the shop get your suspension checked out. while its up in the air.

Car Shakes

Certainly sounds like a partially, or seized caliper hanging up, which has warped rotor. What exactly did they replace at brake job, do you know? Either way they need to be rechecked.

1975 cj5 jeep starts to shake badly at about 40 mph.

I had the exact same same issue with my 03 sahara at the exact same speed and it was a huge build up of dirt in the rims (live on gravel road)that may be the issue or you may have a badly balanced tire or a bad front end part(s) ball joint tie rod etc......
hope this helps!
