My first suspicion is a bad battery.
If you can, have it tested.
The reason why it does start when it does is what is called :"surface charge".
When the battery is tested, first it is brought up to full voltage.
Then, a "load" is put on it for a few minuter.
If you have no tester, shade tree mechanics give the load test by turning on all the lights for 5 minutes, without the engine running.
If then it goes bad and won't start, you have found the problem.
Hi, on most vehicles, the airbag light should come on for at 6 seconds, and then go off if the system is working properly. If there is a fault or a problem in the system, the light will remain illuminated, or flash continuously. If the airbag light does not work properly, some vehicles have an audible tone that sounds indicating a problem with the airbag light system. When the light is on (or the tone is sounding), the airbag will NOT deploy, even in an accident.

The flashing light on your car is telling there is a problem.

This is a little easier
To reset the light simply turn the iginition to the on position, (you dont need to start it). All the lights should stay on for thier diagnostic check. As soon as the airbag light goes off, before it starts flashing, immeditatly turn the car off. Repeat this 3 or 4 times (turning to on then off) and the light should go away

No fit a new battery ,also check its charging do this by jump starting the vehicle with proper cables and not boost cables then with engine running disconnect the neg battery terminal ,if engine stops then you need a new alternator if it continues to run replace the battery ,it should 12.7 volts or up dont start playing with relays or anything else .
You my friend have a bundle of problems. See if I can address them for you.
#1) Airbag light (SRS) needs to be reset by dealer or a competent shop - it's a special (and expensive reset tool) it's a safety thing. Keep in mind, if light comes back on, one of the crash sensors is loose, corroded or shorted and needs replacing.
#2) Engine light - one of your cars many sensors have triggered computer as to a fault. You need to go to a good part store or shop and have them do an OBII fault scan (different from above) Autozone, Advance etc auto parts stores do these FREE. They'll tell you what needs to be replaced, thenthey can reset your light.
#3) Your leak can be anything from door seal, window seal, and if you have a sunroof there's a drain near drivers side. I'd have a good shop look at it.
All the dealerships have a TSB concerning this very problem. It concerns a possible loose connection at the 175 amp mega fuse located near the passenger side cowl. Tell them to get off their sorry behinds and fix the problem.
check ALL the ground leads coming out of the battery, sounds like somethind is loose or not making a perfect connection, get back to me and we'll go through tracing the problem. remember lights do not need a pefect ground Thanks Ray please rate my fix
