Front left wheel shakes badly when you reach 70 mph or higher

Our 2002 did the same thing. Easy cheap fix! Pull the wheel off and check the wiring that goes to the wheel sensor. You will find after removing a few inches of wrap, a broken wire or two. This could be on either wheel, so check both. Fix the wires back up and you are good to go. Hope this helps!

The most common cause for this problem that I see is a failed rear "Differential oil flow valve". You would need someone to hook up to the vehicle with a scan tool and retrieve the service code to know for sure but the valve is usually the culprit in most cases. There may be a code that says something like "rear axle over temp condition" and this relates to the valve problem. There are other things that can cause the AWD light to come on so it's always good to check first before replacing parts as the valve is fairly expensive. Good luck, hope this helps!

There is a solenoid on the rear differential that is very common to fail. If you call you GM dealer and tell them you need the rear diff actuator they will now exactly what you are talking about.
