Depends on the year, make and model of the car. Newer cars usually have a fuel filter along the the frame rail out of the way, older cars can have them on the Carberatuer. Those are the two usual places though.
Tuneup!!! Change your plugs , wires and coils, then change your fuel filter, air filter,oil and filter, sounds like you have a dead cylinder (not firing) . How many miles?
It's probably mounted inside the gas tank. A lot of them are these days. If the fuel pump is locked open ( you can get gas to flow from the tank) you can put an inline fuel pump on it to repair it. Hope this helps
Generally speaking, Chrysler has not used a replacement fuel filter since the mid 1990s. Your car has a small screen before the pump inside the gas tank.
The filter is integrated into the pump assembly in the fuel tank. Fortunately you can get to the pump from the back seat in this car. Please let us know if you have more questions.
