How Do I replace front axel seals

Hi,if you are talking about the drive shaft cv boot,there is a vidio on you tube showing how to change the drive shaft same perseger,hope this is helpfull,all the best,its a easy fix.

Its either the vent for the rear carriar is pluged or the rear bearings are worn out making to axles move to much and damageing the seals causeing them to leak

Which seal do you mean?? The CV boot on the front hal fshafts or the seal on the outside of the differential assembly?

Either one is not too tough, but the rough part in either case is removing the half shaft assembly on the side of the leak.

Probly broken axel,seal or linkage.

you need to pull off wheels,brakes, rotor /unit hub bearing, both axles and intermediate shaft, as well as the vac disconnec ton the front axle tube. if only the right side leaks then only then only pull the right axle and intermediate shaft and vac disco. it is a trick with a miller tool to replace the seal. the left side seal is inside the diff and the carrier has to come out to replace it. pete

you need to aline the spline then is will go in

There should be a big nut in the center of the wheel hub. You will have to remove atleast one of the ball joints if it's IFS.

this is rather simple pull the drain plugs and refill till it starts to run out of top plug besure to use proper gear oli for your vehicel

Loosen differential cover and let oil drain. Remove cover, remove U lock from axel. Pull axel out. Remove bearing seal then bearing. Install new bearing, seal and reinstall axel. Reinstall U lock and new cover gasket. Fill with 75-90wt gear oil. Now I know that sound pretty straight forward. But there are some things to remember. The U lock can be difficult to remove sometimes. The most important thing is the seal, you will need to make sure it gets seated correctly and not torn when installing axel.

take the wheel off , unbolt caliper and sling it out of the way with a bungi cord, take off the rotor, then you have too take the pumpkin cover off the axel diff in the front (drain fluid first) easy way to do that take out bottom and side bolts out then leave top 1 or 2 in but finger loose. pry cover off with a sturdy scrapper from side allowing fluid to leak out from bottom of cover. when fluid is done comeing out then take off cover. to take the axel out to replace the seal you have to push the axel inwards to remove the C- CLIP on the end of the axel shaft that slides into the inside of the pinion gear (use a extending magnet) keeps gear oil on your hands and from dropping it into the pumpkin housing. then all you have to do is slide the axel shaft out. then replace the seal .
